Shingai Shownia from The Noisettes Wearing...
Well Katherine Elizabeth Millinery has been busy over the few weeks. We have been designing bespoke hats for Shingai Shownia from the Noisettes.

Katherine Meeting Camilla Parker Bowles!
This month we had a chance to meet Camilla Parker-Bowles - The Duchess of Cornwall, in Charleston-Sussex. We held a ‘Mad Hatters Couture Party’ in the home of Bloomsbury artist Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant. Check out the pics!

Portal Resturant
On the 6th December the Portuguese Portal Restaurant in Farringdon hosted a live window display between 2-6pm featuring Katherine Elizabeth and her team making hats and fascinators live in the window.
The window was decorated with lots of Holly and Ivy; well it was Christmas after all!!

It’s a hard life, rubbing sholders with celebs such as Sophie Ellis Bexter, talking to journalists from all of the major fashion mags such as Vogue and Grazia. Yep Katherine and Emily were very lucky indeed to attend the magical Jacques Cider town house event.

Cocktails and Hat Making at the City Tavern
Last Saturday, it was summer cocktails and hats for all as the bride-to-be and her thirteen closest friends embarked on one of our infamous Mad Hatters parties. While some went for a more summery look with bright colors and large flower appliques, others kept it simple and chic with black netting and feathers. It was the perfect venue at the City Tavern pub in London, with a quaint beer garden...

A Mad Hatters Event in Clerkenwell
Over a gorgeous sunny day in London, Katherine Elizabeth teamed up with maid of honor, Fenella, to host a Mad Hatters tea party. Held in our very own studio venue in Craft Central, Clerkenwell, everyone was able to choose their colors and materials before hand stitching their feathers and netting to a headband or hat base.
The day was complete with sunshine, champagne, cakes, and fun chatter....
A Bethnal Green Hat Party Hen Do
Held in the trendy East London Bethnal Green, Sarah Rickaby and her lovely friends had a Mad Hatters hen do. It was a beautiful sunny day in their quaint back garden as the ladies learnt the tricks of the trade of hat making. Along with their creations, they also had their make-up done by Fiona Tanner. Everyone looked stunning in their summer dresses and new fascinators.

Investec Bond Over Champagne-Filled Teacups at...
We had a lovely time showing the ladies at Investec how to create beautiful millinery creations with the help of Katherine Elizabeth. Spread over two sessions, the event was held at trendy soho bar Sketch.
